WDRO supported 10 women by providing start-up capital to engage in feasible and sustainable livelihood activities. This initiative aimed to empower women economically, enhance their self-reliance, and improve household income. The beneficiaries received training on financial literacy and business planning to ensure effective utilization of the funds. Each woman was supported to establish or expand income-generating activities such as small-scale trading, tailoring, and handicraft production, based on their skills and market opportunities.

The provision of start-up capital has already shown promising results, with beneficiaries reporting increased confidence and improved living standards. By investing in women’s economic empowerment, this intervention not only strengthens their resilience but also contributes to broader community development. WDRO remains committed to monitoring the progress of these livelihood activities and providing ongoing mentorship to ensure long-term sustainability and success.
