Derived from the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, WDRO’s logo represents the organization’s human-face approach to humanitarian aid and development, WDRO believes that saving lives and incorporating integrated programming is the key to providing long-term and successful development.

Our Program Portfolio
From a development perspective, the social fabric of the Somali region of Ethiopia disintegrated largely because of the civil strife and endemic conflict in the region with huge needs for housing, water, health facilities, food security/livelihood, education, and employment opportunities. A whole generation of young people pastoralists and agro-pastoralists do not have access to proper schooling and health facilities.
